Wayne recieved a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters and Doctorate from the University of Virginia. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel and and since that time has been actively involved in residential and commercial brokerage with RE/MAX in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC areas and with Wayne Babb and Associates, LTD, in both national and international marketplaces.
Irina earned her undergraduate degreee in linguistics and literature from Ivanovo State University in Russia. She has been an "Intourist" guide for English speaking tourists to Russia. While working in the travel business, she had the opportunity to journey throughout the world and to the United States on several occasions. Irina has a successful marketing, advertising and financial background through her previous wholesale and retail businesses interests in Russia. She owned a wholesale grocery business in Russia and was a pioneer in the free enterprise system in the former USSR. She was an innovator in setting the standard for female ownership in Russia.
Irina and Wayne have traveled extensively in Eastern Europe and Russia. They have broad contacts with a number of Russian and European private business and public officials and they actively market Unites States properties in those regions. Wayne and Irina have provided business consultation to a number of firms in Russia and Eastern Europe; most recently in Poland and Hungary and in Europe and Russia. They are widely respected in the region as results-oriented business and real estate professionals.

Of the over 105,000 RE/MAX professionals worldwide, Wayne was ranked number 22 in the United States for 2004. Wayne is a recent recipient of the highly coveted RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award from RE/MAX International. He is also a member of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® Million Dollar Sales Club and is a Life Member of the Top Producers Club of the Association. In addition, Wayne has an extensive and very successful entrepreneurial business background in finance, marketing, advertising and sales. In his business career, he has been directly responsible for nearly one billion dollars in real estate sales volume. Irina entered the real estate business with a flourish and, like Wayne, she has become a powerful force in the Metropolitan D.C. area. Irina is licensed in both Virginia and the District of Columbia. Irina quickly earned and holds the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and the Accreditied Staging Professional (ASP) designations based on sales volume and superior performance. She is a member of The Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® Million Dollar Sales Club, The Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® Top Producer Club and was The Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® "Rookie of the Year" for 2005. In addition, she is a 2005 member of the RE/MAX Chairman's Club and a 2006 member of the RE/MAX Platinum Club. She is also a member of the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame. Irina was honored at functions in Virginia, Maryland and Las Vegas. During 2005-2006, Irina assisted in the purchase and sale of over 60 Million Dollars in closed real estate volume.
